Budget Committee Opening

Santiam Canyon School District 129J is seeking applicants to fill one vacancy on its Budget Committee for a three-year term expiring June 30, 2028.
The Budget Committee serves in an advisory capacity, providing guidance and direction on the District’s annual budget. Committee members review the District’s proposed budget in its entirety, approve the Budget Document, and forward it to the School Board for adoption by the end of June.
The Committee meets in the evenings during public meetings held in May and June. Interested community members who are registered voters residing within the district boundaries are encouraged to apply.
To request an application, please email Lisa Follis, Executive Assistant, at lisa.follis@k12.or.us. Applications may also be picked up at the Santiam Canyon School District Office, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Completed applications must be submitted to Mrs. Follis no later than 4:00 p.m. on March 4.
